Ararat-Armenia have officially announced the signing of Portuguese defender Bruno Pereira. The 28-year-old footballer has joined the Armenian champions from Penafiel, a club from Portugal’s second-tier league.
Pereira mainly plays as a left-back, but he can also operate in midfield if needed.
Bruno Pereira is a product of Porto’s academy, although he has spent most of his career in Portugal’s second division. Last season, he made 27 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
The player is 177 cm tall, while his market value is estimated at €275,000.
Pereira became Ararat-Armenia’s third signing of the summer transfer window. Earlier, the Armenian champions signed Brazilian players Luis Felipe and Carlos França.
Ararat-Armenia are preparing for the start of their Champions League qualifying campaign, where they will face Latvian side Riga FC in the first round.
