Benik Hovhannisyan Gives Van Victory with a Stunning Free-Kick Goal

Benik Hovhannisyan became the main hero of the Armenian Premier League Matchday 24 clash between Van and Gandzasar.

The 33-year-old veteran of Armenian football scored an incredible free-kick goal, which ultimately proved to be the only goal of the match. Thanks to Hovhannisyan’s precise strike, Van claimed a narrow 1–0 victory over Gandzasar.

For Hovhannisyan, this was already his second goal of the current season. Remarkably, both of his goals have come directly from free kicks.

Benik is now playing his 15th season in the Armenian Premier League, continuing to prove his high level and importance to the team.

After Matchday 24, Van sit 6th in the Armenian Premier League table with 28 points. Gandzasar are in 8th place with 21 points. Both teams have already secured their place in the top division.
