Montenegro midfielder Aleksa Latković will miss the Nations League Matchday 4 clash against Armenia due to suspension.
The 25-year-old has picked up two yellow cards in Montenegro’s previous two matches and will therefore be unavailable for the game against Armenia in Podgorica on October 5.
Latković received his first booking on September 28 in Yerevan against Armenia. He then became the hero of the closing stages after coming on as a substitute, scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute to secure a 3-2 victory for Montenegro.
His second yellow card came on October 2 in the away match against Latvia. Montenegro won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Vasilije Adžić, recording their third consecutive victory in the current Nations League campaign.
As a result, Montenegro head coach Mirko Vučinić will be without the scorer of the decisive goal from the first meeting with Armenia.
The Montenegro vs Armenia match will take place on October 5 at the Podgorica City Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 22:45 Yerevan time.
After three rounds, Montenegro lead Group C2 with a perfect 9 points, while Armenia sit third with 3 points.
