Armenian winger Artur Serobyan opened his scoring account for the new Moldovan league season, securing a victory for Sheriff in the central match of the round.
In Matchday 3 of the Super Liga, Sheriff claimed an important 2–1 win over the reigning champions Milsami. Serobyan started on the bench but came on early in the second half. Just six minutes after entering the pitch, he scored the decisive goal, becoming the match-winner.
This was Serobyan’s second appearance of the season. He now has 1 goal and 1 assist.
Sheriff’s next match will be on July 10, when they face Kosovo’s Prishtina in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
