Armenia U21 national team player Artyom Bandikyan started for CSKA in the second round of the group stage of the 2025/26 Russian Cup against Akron and played the full 90 minutes.
Akron opened the scoring through Bakayev, but in the 70th minute, the 19-year-old Armenian delivered a precise cross from the flank that was converted by Tamerlan Musaev to level the score. Thanks to this, CSKA took the game to a penalty shootout, where Akron players were more accurate, winning 5-4.
This was Artyom Bandikyan’s first assist for CSKA’s first team.
