19-year-old defender of the Armenian U-21 national team and Moscow CSKA, Artyom Bandikyan, made his debut in the Russian Premier League. He came on as a substitute in the 22nd-round match against Makhachkala's Dynamo.
Bandikyan entered the field in the 87th minute, replacing Abbosbek Fayzullaev when the score was 2:0 in favor of CSKA. The match ended with the same result.
In his 8 minutes on the field, the Armenian footballer touched the ball five times and completed three accurate passes.
Bandikyan is the captain of CSKA's youth team and has been demonstrating confident performances in the Youth Football League: in 24 matches, he has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists. Previously, he had already trained with the first team and traveled to international training camps, but his official RPL debut took place only on March 29.
