Arsen Hovhannisyan Appointed Head Coach of Shirak

Arsen Hovhannisyan has been appointed the new head coach of Gyumri-based Shirak FC, replacing Rafael Nazaryan in the role.
The 36-year-old specialist returns to the club he previously managed in the 2023/24 season, leading Shirak to an Armenian Supercup victory. Prior to that, he served as the technical director of the club’s academy.
Hovhannisyan’s assistant will be former Shirak player Andranik Barikyan.
During the off-season, several players departed the club: Hrayr Mkoyan, Dario Vukasinović, Madjico Traoré, Mory Koné, Cédric Doe, and Ali Koulibaly.
