Armenian talent Milan Gharibian signs trainee professional contract with Clermont Foot

Young Armenian midfielder Milan Gharibian has taken another important step in his career in France. Clermont Foot 63 has officially announced the signing of a trainee professional contract with the player.

Gharibian, who was born in November 2008, will continue his development within the club’s structure and at the Clermont Foot training center. For the 17-year-old attacking midfielder, this contract is a confirmation of the progress he has shown during the current season.

Milan has enjoyed a strong campaign with Clermont Foot U19 in the French national championship. In 22 matches, he scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists, becoming one of the team’s notable attacking players. The club highlighted his consistency, efficiency and high potential.

Gharibian’s season is not over yet. This coming Sunday, he may take part in the semifinal of the French U19 championship against AS Monaco. The match will be played at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium.

Earlier, Sportaran had already reported on Milan Garibyan’s move to the Clermont Foot system. Last year, the 16-year-old Armenian midfielder signed a contract with the club’s youth team until 2027.

Before that, Gharibian played for Olympique Rovenain U17, where he was one of the team’s leaders. In the 2024/25 season, he scored 17 goals and was named the best midfielder of the French U17 championship in Group E.

Clermont Foot currently plays in Ligue 2.
