Armenian juniors win silver at the SILK WAY SERIES ASTANA international tournament

Young representatives of the Armenian national cycling team, Eduard Grigoryan and David Matevosyan, delivered a successful performance at the international SILK WAY SERIES ASTANA tournament, which is being held in Kazakhstan.
The Armenian athletes competed under the guidance of head coach David Mkrtchyan and achieved an important result in the junior Madison discipline. In this race, Grigoryan and Matevosyan demonstrated strong teamwork, fighting spirit and a high level of coordination, finishing in second place.
As a result of their performance, the Armenian pair won the silver medal, confirming the progress of Armenia’s young cyclists on the international stage.
This result is particularly important for the development of Armenian cycling. Tournaments of this level provide young athletes with valuable experience, allow them to test themselves against strong opponents and become an important step on the path toward new achievements.
