Avanes Zakaryan defeated his opponent from China.

David Vartanyan overcame a fighter from India.

Arsen Baghryan won against an athlete from the USA.

Tigran Gevorgyan lost to a competitor from Macau.

Thus, Team Armenia started the championship successfully and continues to confidently fight for medals.

The first competition day was also marked by a shocking incident: a Moroccan fighter lost consciousness after a blow from a Chinese athlete.
