From March 4 to 6, Moscow hosted the prestigious international rhythmic gymnastics tournament – the Grand Prix: Alina Kabaeva Champions Cup. The Irina Viner Gymnastics Palace brought together 177 athletes from 20 countries to showcase their skills in this elegant sport.

Armenian gymnasts became one of the highlights of the competition, winning a total of six bronze medals. The junior athletes performed particularly well: 14-year-old Nelly Saghatelian stepped onto the podium four times. She claimed bronze in the all-around competition as well as in the individual apparatus events with the hoop, clubs, and ribbon.

The senior category also contributed to the Armenian team's success: Milena Asryan added two more medals to Armenia’s tally. She secured third place in the all-around competition and in the ball routine, demonstrating her high level of preparation and competitiveness on the international stage.

The senior all-around champion was Maria Borisova from Russia.

This tournament, named after Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, traditionally gathers some of the world’s strongest gymnasts.
