Armenia wins 4 medals at the European U15 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships

The 2026 European U15 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships concluded on May 22 in Samokov, Bulgaria. Team Armenia competed at the tournament with a full squad of 10 athletes and won 4 medals: 1 silver and 3 bronze.

Pasha Khudoyan became a silver medalist of the European Championships in the 44 kg weight category. Bronze medals for Armenia were won by Sevak Manukyan at 41 kg, Mihran Tatoyan at 48 kg, and Alex Gevorgyan at 62 kg.

In addition, wrestler of Armenian origin Levon Bardegyan also impressed at the tournament. Representing Georgia, he became European champion in the 75 kg weight category.

In the team standings, Russia took first place with 4 gold and 3 bronze medals. Armenia scored 87 points and finished 5th. For comparison, last year the Armenian youngsters achieved a higher result, taking second place in the team standings.
