Armenia U15 beat Georgia on penalties and finish second at the UEFA Development Tournament

Armenia U15 ended their UEFA Development Tournament campaign with a victory over Georgia. The final match of the tournament in Yerevan was a tense contest and ended with success for the Armenian team in the penalty shootout.
Regular time ended in a 2-2 draw. Samvel Atasunts and Narek Avetisyan, both academy players of Pyunik, scored for Armenia.
After the draw in regular time, the winner was decided by penalties. Armenia goalkeeper Christopher Hayrapetyan became the hero of the shootout. He saved four penalties and helped his team win 2-1.
In the other match of the day, Uzbekistan defeated Moldova 2-1 and became the winner of the UEFA Development Tournament. Uzbekistan finished the competition with six points.

- Moldova — 3
As a result, Armenia U15 finished second at the home tournament. In three matches, the team won two penalty shootouts — against Moldova and Georgia — while their only defeat came against Uzbekistan, also on penalties.
