Armen Melikbekyan Congratulates Ararat-Armenia on Historic Europa League Qualification

President of the Football Federation of Armenia Armen Melikbekyan congratulated Ararat-Armenia on qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.
The Armenian club achieved a historic result — for the first time, a representative of Armenia will play in the main stage of the Europa League.
“I congratulate Ararat-Armenia on this historic achievement. For the first time in the history of Armenian club football, our club will play in the Europa League. This is truly a significant success. May it become the beginning of new achievements and many victories,” Melikbekyan said in his message.
In the Europa League play-off round, Ararat-Armenia defeated Romanian side Universitatea Craiova 1–0 on aggregate.
Sandro Lima scored the decisive goal in the 90+8th minute.
