Arman Tsarukyan claimed an impressive victory at the ACBJJ 20 tournament in Moscow, capturing the prestigious “Stars Belt” championship title.
The bout against Mehdi Baydulaev was held under No-GI jiu-jitsu rules and proved exciting from the opening seconds. The UFC lightweight division’s No.1 contender imposed a high pace, showcasing clear superiority in grappling and control.
The decisive moment came 30 seconds before the end of the match, when Tsarukyan executed a submission choke, forcing his opponent to tap out. It is worth noting that Baydulaev accepted the fight on short notice, replacing Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov.
This victory earned Arman Tsarukyan the ACBJJ “Stars Belt” championship and once again confirmed his elite level in grappling disciplines.
Following his appearance at ACBJJ 20, Tsarukyan will travel to Yerevan, where on December 30 he will face Shara Bullet in a grappling bout at the Hype Fighting tournament.
