Argishti Petrosyan has been called up to the Armenian national team to replace Styopa Mkrtchyan

BKMA center-back Argishti Petrosyan has been called up to the Armenia national team for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.
The 33-year-old defender received a late call-up after it became known that Nürnberg defender Styopa Mkrtchyan would be unable to join the national team because he had not fully recovered in time.
Petrosyan will therefore replace Mkrtchyan in Armenia’s squad for the upcoming international window.
This is not the first national team call-up for the BKMA defender. He was previously included in the squad for the June friendly matches but did not make an appearance.
Petrosyan will now have another opportunity to make his debut for the Armenia national team.
Armenia, coached by Yeghishe Melikyan, are set to play four UEFA Nations League matches between September 25 and October 5.
