Ararat-Armenia thrash Shirak and go into the winter break as league leaders

In their final match of 2025, Ararat-Armenia confidently defeated Shirak 4–1. The game was resumed today from the 27th minute after being interrupted yesterday in the 26th minute due to a power outage at the Avan Football Academy Stadium.

The opening goal was scored by Shirak forward Leva Mryan after an assist from Robert Darbinyan — Mryan’s third goal of the season. However, from that point on, Ararat-Armenia completely dominated the match.

The goals for the winners were scored by:

• Araik Eloyan — 4th goal of the season,
• Hugo Oliveira — 4th,
• Artur Serobyan — 3rd,
• Paul Ayongo — 2nd.

Assists were provided by:

• Jirair Shaghoyan — 6th assist of the season,
• Armen Ambartsumyan — 1st,
• Karen Muradyan — 1st.

After this convincing victory, Ararat-Armenia enter the winter break at the top of the table, leading Urartu, Pyunik, and Alashkert by 5 points. Pyunik, however, still have one match in hand.
