Aliev Replaces Piraev to Face Vartanyan

Eduard Vartanyan (26–4) will face Fight Nights champion Ahmed Aliev (22–8) on August 16, 2025, in Moscow. The Dagestani fighter steps in as a replacement for the injured Marif Piraev.

The bout will keep its originally announced date. Earlier, the organizers were searching for a new opponent for Vartanyan, and Eduard himself insisted on stepping into the cage regardless of changes to the fight card.

This will be Vartanyan’s first official fight since August 2024, when he defeated Aleksandr Grozin. Aliev enters the contest as the reigning champion of the promotion.
