“Alashkert” scores milestone goal, “Pyunik” confidently defeats “Ararat”

In Round 4 of the Armenian Premier League, fans witnessed two significant matches that influenced the top of the standings.
“Urartu” – “Alashkert” 0:1
In Yerevan, “Alashkert” defeated “Urartu” away with a score of 1:0. The key moment came in the 58th minute when midfielder Edgar Piloyan scored. This goal entered the club’s history as “Alashkert’s” 500th goal in the Armenian championships.
Thanks to the victory, Vahe Gevorgyan’s team earned 6 points after three matches and climbed to fourth place in the table. Under Robert Arzumanyan, “Urartu” remained second with 7 points from four games but now feels pressure from its rivals.
“Ararat” – “Pyunik” 0:2

Thus, the tournament intrigue only grows stronger: “Alashkert” is gaining momentum, “Pyunik” is breathing down “Urartu’s” neck, while at the bottom “Ararat” continues to search for its game.
