Hayk Manukyan Defeats Azerbaijani in Final and Becomes European Champion

Armenian wrestler Hayk Manukyan won the gold medal at the U17 European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling, held in Skopje (North Macedonia).
In the 60 kg weight category, Manukyan demonstrated absolute dominance. In the final bout, he achieved an early victory over Ali Nazarov of Azerbaijan with a score of 11:3. On his way to the final, Hayk confidently defeated all his opponents without conceding a single point: 9:0 against the Israeli representative, 8:0 against the Hungarian, 8:0 against the German, and 9:0 in the semifinal against the Italian wrestler.
This victory earned Armenia its second gold medal at the tournament. The national team also has 2 silver and 1 bronze medals, putting Armenia in first place in the overall team standings.
