Alexander Klyuev, the agent representing Armenia national team defender and Red Star Belgrade player Nair Tiknizyan, commented to Sport-Express on the player’s visa situation ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifier away match against Ireland.
Earlier, Metaratings reported that Tiknizyan was unable to obtain a visa to travel to Dublin due to document issues.
“There are indeed certain difficulties with the visa. Nair has already joined the national team, and the Football Federation of Armenia assured that the matter is under control and will be resolved soon,” Klyuev said.
The fourth-round World Cup qualifier between Ireland and Armenia is scheduled for October 14 in Dublin.
Tiknizyan will definitely play against Hungary on October 11.
