13 countries to take part in Benur Pashayan Tournament in Yerevan

The 2026 Benur Pashayan International Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament will take place in Yerevan from June 30 to July 1.
The final bouts of the tournament will be held on July 1 at 18:00 Yerevan time.
This year, 170 wrestlers from 13 countries will take part in the competition. The full list of participants will be announced later.
For comparison, in 2025 the tournament featured wrestlers from nine countries: Armenia, Iran, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia, Norway, Poland and the Czech Republic.
The Benur Pashayan Tournament traditionally brings strong Greco-Roman wrestlers to Yerevan and serves as a selection event for the Armenian national team ahead of the World Championships. In 2026, the World Championships will be held in Astana from October 24 to November 1.
