On April 23, a seminar-meeting was held at the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) office, organized by the FFA Licensing Department with the participation of licensing officers from candidate clubs of the Armenian First League. The seminar was led by the head of the FFA Licensing Department, Vahan Berakchyan.
Ten clubs have submitted applications to participate in the licensing process for the 2025/2026 First League season: SA Mika, Nikarm FA, Andranik FA, Bentonite FA, Lernayin Artsakh FA, Olympia FA, Sardarapat FA, Ararati Arax FA, Hayk FA, and Dovegh FA.
Upon obtaining the license and achieving the necessary sporting qualification, these clubs will earn the right to participate in the 2025/2026 Armenian First League.
During the seminar, club representatives were informed about all the changes made to the licensing criteria compared to the previous season. Based on the submitted documentation, the FFA Club Licensing Committee will review the applications and make decisions regarding the issuance of licenses on May 30 of this year.
