Sardarapat Makes Premier League Debut: Starting Lineups for Match Against Van

The 2026/27 Armenian Premier League season kicks off today, July 31. In the opening match of the first round, top-flight newcomers Sardarapat from Armavir will play the first Premier League game in the club’s history. They will face Van away in Charentsavan.
The Van vs Sardarapat match will kick off at 4:00 p.m. Yerevan time and 3:00 p.m. Moscow time.
The match will be streamed live on YouTube.
Both teams enter the new season with plenty of unanswered questions. It is still difficult to predict what positions Premier League newcomers Sardarapat will be able to challenge for. Van, meanwhile, have once again undergone major changes during the summer break and will begin the season with an almost entirely new-look squad.
The match therefore promises to be one of the most intriguing fixtures of the opening round.
