Matthias Jaissle Could Take Charge of Newcastle

Al-Ahli head coach Matthias Jaissle is reportedly close to joining Newcastle United.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, talks between the parties are already at an advanced stage. The 38-year-old German is considered the leading candidate to replace Eddie Howe.
Jaissle has been in charge of Al-Ahli since 2023. Under his leadership, the team won back-to-back Asian Champions League titles.
His coaching philosophy has been heavily influenced by Ralf Rangnick, Thomas Tuchel and Jürgen Klopp. Jaissle is known for his commitment to intense pressing and dynamic attacking football.
Should the German leave, Eduard Spertsyan’s Al-Ahli will be forced to conduct an urgent search for a new head coach ahead of the start of the season.
