Zhora Akopyan Knocks Out Japan’s Riku Yamano at K-1 Tournament in Japan (VIDEO)

Armenian kickboxer Zhora Akopyan (31-6) claimed an impressive victory at the K-1 Dontaku tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, knocking out local fighter Riku Yamano in the first round.
At the end of the round, Akopyan first dropped his opponent with a knockdown. After the Japanese fighter got back up, the Armenian finished the bout with a powerful offensive, ending the fight by knockout.
This is the second consecutive win for the 27-year-old Armenian and his first on Japanese soil.
Zhora’s next fight is scheduled for September 7 in Tokyo at the prestigious K-1 World MAX 2025 — World Tournament Opening Round, where he will continue his quest for the championship title.
