Armenia U16 women’s national team wins silver in FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division C

The Armenia U16 women’s basketball team claimed the silver medal at the FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division C, which concluded yesterday. In the final match, the Armenian players fell to Cyprus with a score of 58–65.
The team’s leader in the decisive game was Kelin Shadjanyan, who scored 22 points. Over the course of the tournament, she ranked second among the top scorers with an average of 15.6 points per game. Ava Seda Gharib also delivered an impressive performance, finishing second in average rebounds with 11.4 per game.

Following the tournament, Ava Seda Gharib was named to the All-Star Team.
