Armenia U16 women's team advances to EuroBasket semifinals despite loss to Cyprus

The Armenia U16 women's basketball team lost 69–73 to Cyprus in the final game of the group stage at the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship Division C. The match was held as part of the third round of the tournament.
The best player for Armenia was Areni Ohanyan, who scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and added 3 assists and 3 steals.
Despite the loss, Armenia finished second in the group and advanced to the playoffs. In the semifinals, Armine Hayrapetyan’s team will face the winner of the Albania vs. Malta game.
In the group stage, Armenia had secured two confident wins—against Georgia (84–57) and Gibraltar (102–46). The team continues its fight for the championship title.
