Pyunik Women's Football Club started their Champions League qualifying campaign with a victory. In the first match, the Armenian team defeated Bulgaria's NSA Sofia 1-0.
The only goal of the match was scored by Veronika Asatryan in the 91st minute, securing her team's advancement to the next round.
Pyunik will play their next match on August 3 against the winner of the pair "Ljuboten" (North Macedonia) – "Runavík" (Faroe Islands).
