Yerevan’s Noah defender David Sualehe will step onto the field tomorrow against his former team — Olimpija Ljubljana, with whom he previously became the champion of Slovenia.
Ahead of the first leg of the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League playoffs, the Portuguese player spoke at the pre-match press conference.
“Yes, I arrived in a place where everything is familiar to me. But now I play for another team and I hope that tomorrow we will win. Olimpija has a new head coach, so I don’t know everything about this team. The last match in the Europa League was very difficult, we tried everything to win, but we couldn’t. We dominated, but we just couldn’t score.
We have prepared very well for tomorrow’s game. We clearly understand what needs to be done, and now it’s important to apply it in practice. The main thing is to focus on ourselves,” said Sualehe.
The match between Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Noah (Armenia) will take place on August 21 in Ljubljana, starting at 22:00 Yerevan time.
