The most long—awaited tournament of the year, the World Wrestling Championship, starts in two days. The Russian athletes have already flown to the Croatian capital. Until the last second before departure, many wrestlers did not receive their visas, and only at the last moment they were stamped.

Almost all participants received visas, except for two-time Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev. Until the last moment, Zaurbek Sidakov's participation was also questionable, but in the end, like the rest of the athletes, he successfully received a visa and has already flown out.
