Former FC Krasnodar striker Yura Movsisyan congratulated the Russian club on its historic achievement — winning its first championship in the 2024/25 season. Sergey Galitsky’s team managed to finish one point ahead of Zenit in the final Russian Premier League standings.
In his congratulatory message, Movsisyan highlighted the club owner's contribution:
"Congratulations to the city of Krasnodar and Sergey Galitsky. I am proud of this achievement. From day one, it was a long journey. This was Galitsky's dream, and I can’t imagine a more deserving victory. It’s an honor for me to have been part of this project in the past! I’m proud of the team and of Eduard Spertsyan for their success."
Yura Movsisyan played for Krasnodar from 2011 to 2012, becoming one of the club’s first standout foreign players. His words serve as a warm reminder of how far the project, launched 17 years ago, has come.
During his time with Krasnodar, Movsisyan scored 23 goals and made 10 assists in 51 matches.
