On July 24, the second day of the 2025 Youth European Weightlifting Championships for U15 and U17 athletes was held in Madrid.

Four medal events took place on the second day. Representing Armenia, Davit Arakelyan (up to 60 kg) took part in the competition and finished 6th in the total. Notably, he won the small silver medal in the snatch discipline, placing 2nd.
