The Armenia U19 national team will play two friendly matches against their Uzbek counterparts in early September. The games are scheduled for September 5 and 8, according to the Football Federation of Armenia.
Currently, the team is holding a training camp in Yerevan under the guidance of head coach Misha Djorkaeff. A total of 29 players have been called up to the camp, undergoing assessment and preparing for upcoming official matches. It is likely that by the time of the friendlies against Uzbekistan, the squad will be reinforced with players from foreign clubs.

These friendly games will serve as an important stage in preparation for the autumn fixtures. From October 8 to 14, the Armenia U19 team will compete in the qualifying round of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship. In the group stage, Armenia will face Germany, Norway, and Kosovo.
The upcoming matches against Uzbekistan are expected to help the coaching staff evaluate the team’s current form and finalize the roster for the official games.
Let us recall that the youth (U21) and adult national teams of Armenia will also hold matches in September.
The Armenian U21 team will start the EURO U21 qualification matches against Sweden (September 5) and Poland (September 9), and the Armenian national team will start the 2026 World Cup qualification matches against Portugal (September 6) and Ireland (September 9).
