Vyacheslav Afyan receives Armenia U21 call-up ahead of Italy and Montenegro matches

Pyunik Yerevan winger Vyacheslav Afyan has received an additional call-up to the Armenia U21 national team.
The 20-year-old will join Armen Gyulbudaghyants’ squad ahead of the final matches of the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
Armenia U21 will host Italy on October 1 before facing Montenegro away on October 5.
This season, Afyan has made three appearances in the Armenian Premier League and scored one goal.
The Armenia U21 squad had previously undergone several changes. Midfielders Levon Bashoyan and Edgar Piloyan will miss the upcoming training camp due to injuries.
