The final of the Giant Slalom at the 2025 Alpine Skiing World Championship took place in Saalbach, Austria. For the first time in history, an Armenian athlete, Gleb Mosesov, participated in the final.
Gleb finished 23rd in the qualification round and advanced to the final. On February 14, in the final, the 26-year-old athlete placed 47th with a time of 2:57.01.
The world champion in this discipline was Austria’s Raphael Haaser, while Switzerland’s Thomas Tumler and Loic Meillard took second and third place, respectively.
Gleb Mosesov and Harutyun Harutyunyan will also compete in the Slalom qualification round.
