Undefeated Armenian boxer Vladimir Sarukhanyan (20-0) defeated Tanzania’s Abdul Rashid (9-1) by technical knockout in the 5th round and claimed the IBO International belt in the super lightweight division.
The fight took place in Dubai on April 12. After the fifth round, Sarukhanyan’s opponent refused to continue the bout, securing the Armenian boxer’s victory.
Following the match, Vladimir stated that he intends to compete for the IBO world championship title.
