Armenian gymnast Vahagn Davtyan won the gold medal in the rings exercise at the World Cup stage in artistic gymnastics, held in Cottbus, Germany. The 36-year-old athlete scored 14.133 points, securing first place in the final.
The silver medal went to Azerbaijan's Nikita Simonov (14.066), while Turkey's Mehmet Ayberk Kosak (14.000) claimed the bronze.
Another Armenian representative, Artur Avetisyan, also performed well in the final, finishing in fourth place with a score of 13.966.
Tomorrow, another Armenian gymnast, Artur Davtyan, will compete in the Cottbus World Cup stage.
Notably, today, Armenian gymnasts Mamikon Khachatryan and Hamlet Manukyan competed in the pommel horse final, placing 4th and 8th, respectively.
