Following Hamlet Manukyan’s victory on the pommel horse, the Armenian national team added two more medals in the rings event at the fifth stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup held in Doha, Qatar.
Vaagn Davtyan took second place with a score of 14.333, while Artur Avetisyan claimed the bronze with 14.200 points. The gold medal went to China’s Hao Yu, who scored 14.400.
This is the second World Cup medal for both Armenian gymnasts: Davtyan had previously won gold in Cottbus, while Avetisyan earned bronze in Osijek.
Tomorrow, Artur Davtyan will compete for Armenia in the vault.
