Arman Tsarukyan Removed from Flight in the U.S. Ahead of Philadelphia Tournament
Well-known Armenian mixed martial arts fighter Arman Tsarukyan found himself at the center of an unexpected incident in the United States: the athlete was removed from a flight while traveling from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.
The news was reported by journalist Adam Zubayraev on his page on the social media platform X. According to him, the reason was the use of a mobile phone during the flight, which allegedly violated onboard safety regulations.
Zubayraev also published a video from inside the aircraft cabin capturing the moment of the incident. The situation occurred on the eve of the Real American Freestyle 8 (RAF 8) tournament, scheduled to take place on the night of April 19 in Philadelphia.
Tsarukyan himself also shared the moment on his channel.
Tsarukyan was heading to a freestyle wrestling tournament, where he was set to face American fighter Urijah Faber. Despite the incident, the athlete managed to continue his journey and later flew to Philadelphia on a private jet.
