Yerevan Mayor’s Cup 2026 International Boxing Tournament Kicks Off in Yerevan

The Yerevan Mayor’s Cup 2026 international boxing tournament began in the Armenian capital on July 21.
The competition features boxers from Armenia, Moldova, Poland, Iran, Israel, Cambodia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Cyprus.
Armenia’s national team is represented by Rafael Hovhannisyan in the under-85 kg weight category, Artush Hovhannisyan at under 80 kg, Harutyun Hakobkokhyan and Ararat Harutyunyan at under 70 kg, Artur Sahakyan at under 65 kg, Artur Bazeyan at under 60 kg, Ruslan Aslikyan at under 55 kg, as well as Ruben Garboyan and Baregham Harutyunyan at under 50 kg.
The final bouts will take place on July 25 at the Dynamo Sports Complex in Yerevan.
The tournament is being streamed live on the Boxing Federation of Armenia’s YouTube channel.
