In the city of Abovyan, next to the Vahan Tumasyan multifunctional sports complex, an official ceremony was held to inaugurate a new football field with artificial turf.
The renovation of the training field, which previously had natural grass, was carried out by the “Abovyan Academy” football club. The purchase and installation of the artificial surface were funded and implemented by the Football Federation of Armenia ????????.
The Vahan Tumasyan sports complex was transferred free of charge to “Abovyan Academy” FC to promote football development in the region.
The president of the club is former Armenian national team footballer Artak Grigoryan.
