FC Urartu became the first Armenian team to exit the 2025/26 European competitions. In the second leg of the UEFA Conference League first qualifying round, the Yerevan side suffered a crushing 0–4 defeat to Belarusian club Neman Grodno. With a 6–1 aggregate score, Neman claimed a convincing overall victory.
The return leg took place on July 17 at a neutral venue in Hungary. Neman's goals were scored by Pavel Savitskiy, Anton Suchkov, Sergey Pushnyakov, and Maksim Kozlov.
In the second qualifying round, Neman will face Slovakian side Kosice, who replaced the disqualified Dunajská Streda.
It’s worth noting that on the same day, another Armenian representative, Pyunik, secured a confident win over San Marino’s Tre Fiori and advanced to the second round of the Conference League.
