Urartu, Pyunik and Noah among the main winners of Armenia’s youth football championships

The results of the 2025/26 Armenian youth football championships have been finalized. In different age categories, teams from Urartu, Pyunik and Noah became champions, while the cup winners and top scorers of the tournaments were also determined.

In the U18 championship, Urartu-08 finished in first place, while Pyunik-09 became the silver medalist. The tournament’s top scorer was David Asaturyan of Pyunik-09, who scored 28 goals. At the same time, Pyunik-09 also won the cup in this age category.

In the U17 category, the championship title was won by Urartu-10, while Akademia-10 finished second. The top scorer was Hayk Grigoryan of Pyunik-10, who scored 24 goals. The cup was won by Noah-09.

In the U16 tournament, Urartu-11 became the strongest team of the season, while Pyunik-11 took second place. The best result among the scorers was shown by Aren Sargsyan of Pyunik-11, who scored 22 goals. Ararat-Armenia-10 became the cup winner.

In the U15 category, the championship was won by Noah-11, while the silver medals went to Pyunik-12. The top scorer was Martin Sargsyan of Urartu-12, who had a particularly productive season and scored 44 goals. The cup also went to Noah-11.

In the U14 championship, Pyunik-12 claimed the title, while Sardarapat-12 finished second. The top scorer was Hamlet Poghosyan of Noah-12, who scored 10 goals. Pyunik-12 also became the cup winner in this age category.

Thus, several Armenian academies had a successful season. Urartu won three championships — U18, U17 and U16. Noah became the U15 champion and won two cups, while Pyunik won both the championship and the cup in the U14 category, as well as the U18 cup.
