One of the Armenian Premier League leaders, Urartu, drew with second-to-last Alashkert. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the 68th minute, Urartu conceded a bizarre goal: defender Dmitry Tikhiy made a poor back pass to the goalkeeper, and the ball rolled into the net.
Nevertheless, Dmitry Gunko’s team managed to put pressure on their opponent towards the end. Urartu earned a penalty, which Mikael Mirzoyan successfully converted. It was his first goal of the season — he had missed most of the campaign due to injury.
