On June 29, Yerevan’s Urartu played their first friendly match under new head coach Robert Arzumanyan. The Armenian side faced Dinamo Tbilisi during their training camp in Georgia and claimed a hard-fought 3–2 victory.
The goals for Urartu were scored by Zhirayr Margaryan, Mikael Mirzoyan, and Brazilian newcomer Bruno Michel. Dinamo Tbilisi’s scorers were Irakli Siradze and Leo Asuncion.
This match was part of Urartu’s preparation for the first qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa Conference League. The Armenian club will face Belarusian side Neman Grodno on July 10.
It’s worth noting that this was Dinamo Tbilisi’s second friendly against Armenian teams — they previously drew 1–1 with Pyunik and are scheduled to face Ararat-Armenia on July 3.
