Three Armenian Boxers to Enter the Ring on Day Four of the Strandja Cup

Today, February 26, on the fourth competition day of the prestigious international boxing tournament, the Strandja Cup, three representatives of Armenia — one female athlete and two male boxers — will step into the ring.

In the 51 kg weight category (quarterfinal), Anush Grigoryan will face Nina Radovanovic of Serbia. For Grigoryan, this will be her second bout of the tournament — she previously overcame the opening round and will now compete for a place in the semifinals.

In the 65 kg division (round of 16), Artur Sahakyan will have his first fight of the current Strandja Cup edition. His opponent will be England’s Patris Mugalzai.

Another Armenian boxer, Harutyun Hakobkokhyan, competing in the 70 kg weight category (round of 16), will also have his second bout of the tournament. He will face Lavant Brownlee of the United States for a spot in the next stage.
