Triumph of Armenian Fighters at BEARS FC 8 Tournament in Saint Petersburg

On May 21, the BEARS FC 8 mixed martial arts tournament was held in Saint Petersburg, where three Armenian fighters achieved brilliant victories.
Veteran Arsen Nersesyan (30-19-1) left no chance for Aleksandr Veselev (0-2), finishing the bout with a chokehold in the very first round.
The undefeated Gor Chilingaryan (6-0) also secured a quick victory — defeating Ahmed Magomedov (2-1) with a submission in the first round to become the new BEARS FC lightweight champion.
Sargis Melkumyan (6-0) successfully defended his featherweight title. In the main event of the evening, he confidently beat Dmitry Yakovlev (5-9) via chokehold in the first round, becoming a two-time BEARS FC champion.
