Tomas Adoryan secures victory for Banfield at Brazilian tournament (VIDEO)

Armenian national team midfielder Tomas Adoryan scored the winning goal for Argentina’s Banfield in the opening match of the friendly Vitória Cup, held in Brazil’s Espírito Santo state.
On the night of July 2 to 3, Banfield defeated local side Desportiva Ferroviária 1-0. The only goal was scored by 23-year-old Adoryan, who came on as a substitute in the second half. His goal proved decisive, and the Armenian midfielder was named Man of the Match.
Vitória Cup is a preseason tournament featuring Banfield, Desportiva Ferroviária, Defensa y Justicia (Argentina), and Cruzeiro (Brazil). Banfield’s next match will be on July 6 against Cruzeiro at the Kleber Andrade Stadium.
Adoryan made his debut for the Armenian national team on June 6 in a friendly against Kosovo.
