Tomas Adoryan after debuting for the Armenian national team: “A dream came true!”

23-year-old midfielder of Argentine club Banfield, Tomas Adoryan, wore the Armenian national team jersey for the first time. In June 2025, he took part in two friendly matches — against Kosovo and Montenegro — coming on as a substitute in the second half in both games.
After his debut, Adoryan shared his emotions on social media:
“A dream came true — debuting for the national team! Huge thanks to the FFA for this opportunity. I’m grateful to everyone who has always supported me, and especially to God for all the amazing blessings in my life. I’m enjoying what I love most — representing this flag with a great history.”
Adoryan has Armenian roots on his father's side, which he spoke about in a recent interview. After being called up to the Armenian national team, Tomas said it was the fulfillment of a dream and added that he hopes to join a European club in the future.
